Epson WorkForce Enterprise AM-C400 and AM-C550 business inkjet printers receive five-star reviews from DataMaster Lab

DataMaster Lab, a leading testing house for office printers, has awarded Epson’s WorkForce Enterprise AM-C400 and AM-C550 with five-star reviews.

After rigorous testing, both printers were called out as ‘highly productive’ offering 100% print speed in duplex mode, 94% and 92% respectively in busy workgroup mode (also known as Intelligent Processing) and very fast first-page-out times.

Reliability was also identified as a key factor, with testing of the AM-C400 revealing that compared to the average product within the 40-49 ppm colour A4 market segment, ‘this machine will only require a third as many consumables changes’.

Similarly, the AM-C550, when compared to the average product in the 50-59 ppm colour A4 market segment, was recognised as only needing ‘half as many consumables changes’.

And sustainability also contributed heavily. Both models were recognised for their ‘Exemplary environmental credentials’ with typical electrical consumption ‘approximately a third of that of competitors (DM modelled TEC for a monthly print volume of 5,000)’.

Finally, both products were praised for their ‘excellent’ scanners, and for Epson MFPs having ‘the richest scan features set on the MFP market’.
